U.S. citizens are required to possess a valid passport for all travel outside of the United States. Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled completion date of the tour. Entry requirements and visa regulations vary depending on the traveler’s citizenship and the destination country.
Each participant is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, permits, vaccination certificates, and other entry documentation required by the destination country.
AV Travel shall not be responsible for any delays, denied boarding, denied entry, missed flights, or additional expenses resulting from a participant’s failure to obtain or present proper travel documentation. Participants who are unable to travel due to improper or incomplete documentation shall be ineligible for any refund or credit from AV Travel.

In today’s changing travel environment, AV Travel strongly recommends that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect their travel investment.
Unexpected events such as illness, injury, flight delays, baggage loss, weather disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances may impact travel plans. Travel insurance can provide protection for trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical expenses, travel delays, and other covered situations.

Deposit
Deposits are required to secure participation in an AV Travel tour.
For tours departing during June, July, August, December, special events, or holiday periods, deposits are non-refundable.
For all other tours:

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the tour departure date.

Visa and Processing Fees
Visa application fees, document processing fees, and related administrative charges are non-refundable.
Tour Modifications and Cancellation by AV Travel
AV Travel reserves the right to modify, substitute, or adjust tour itineraries, accommodations, transportation, sightseeing activities, or travel schedules when necessary due to operational requirements, safety concerns, supplier availability, weather conditions, government regulations, or circumstances beyond the company’s control.
AV Travel also reserves the right to cancel any tour departure if minimum participation requirements are not met or if travel conditions make the tour impractical or unsafe to operate.
If a tour is cancelled by AV Travel prior to departure, AV Travel’s sole obligation shall be limited to returning to each participant the amounts received by AV Travel for the cancelled tour, less any non-refundable amounts already paid to suppliers unless such amounts are recoverable.
Supplier Responsibility
AV Travel arranges travel services as an agent for independent suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transportation companies, cruise operators, restaurants, and local tour operators.
These suppliers operate under their own terms and conditions and are responsible for the services they provide.
AV Travel does not own, operate, or control these suppliers and shall not be responsible for their acts, omissions, errors, delays, cancellations, or failure to provide services.
In the event suppliers issue refunds, credits, vouchers, or alternative travel arrangements in lieu of cash refunds, AV Travel’s responsibility shall be limited to passing through to participants the same form of compensation received from the supplier.
Refunds may therefore be provided in the form of cash, credit, voucher, or future travel credit, depending on the policies of the respective supplier.
Force Majeure
AV Travel shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, loss, damage, injury, inconvenience, or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Travel Advisory and Risk Acknowledgment
International travel may involve risks that are beyond the control of AV Travel, including political instability, health risks, crime, natural disasters, or changes in government regulations.
Travel advisories and entry requirements may change at any time before or during travel.
Participants are responsible for reviewing travel advisories issued by their home government and destination countries prior to departure.
By booking or participating in an AV Travel tour, participants acknowledge that they are aware of and voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with international travel.
Participants further acknowledge that AV Travel may modify itineraries, substitute services, delay travel, or cancel tours when necessary for safety, operational, or logistical reasons.
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellation, trip interruption, and medical emergencies.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AV Travel’s liability, if any, arising from or related to participation in any tour shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the participant to AV Travel for the tour.
Under no circumstances shall AV Travel be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, lost wages, missed connections, additional travel expenses, or other financial losses.
Participants agree to release and hold harmless AV Travel, its employees, agents, and representatives from liability beyond the limits set forth in these Terms & Conditions.
Your transactions with AV Travel may be covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger was located in California at the time payment was made.
Eligible passengers may file a claim with the TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services that the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or failed to refund when required.
The maximum amount payable by the TCRF to any one passenger shall not exceed $15,000.
Claims must be submitted within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of travel and must include documentation supporting the claim along with a $35 processing fee.
