Arrive Chongqing. Chongqing, China, is the largest city in the world by area, and also the largest by population, is known as being an important economic along the Yangtze river as well as a historical and cultural center.

Day 03: Chongqing - City Tour. (B/L/D)

Chongqing City tour. (B/L/D) After having gourmet breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Liziba Light Rail Station Observation, is famous for its unique design where the monorail train passes directly through a 19-story building. Continue to explore Ciqikou Ancient Town was an important ferry terminal along the Jialing River, a former trading hub dating back to the Ming Dynasty, is one of Chongqing’s best-preserved historic areas. In the evening, enjoy your dinner with a spicy Sichuan Hot Pot at Pipa Yuan Shiweixian Restaurant, accommodating up to 5,851 guests spread across 888 tables. Perched on the slopes of Nanshan Mountain, this iconic hot pot spot is famous for its stunning hillside terraces and vibrant night atmosphere. It was recognized as the “world’s largest restaurant” by Guinness World Records.

Day 04: Chongqing - Yangtze River Cruise. (B/L/D)

Chongqing Yangtze river cruise. (B/L/D) Morning visit the Dazu Rock Carvings are an UNESCO World Heritage Site near Chongqing, China, featuring over 10,000 religious sculptures and reliefs carved into the steep hillsides between the 9th and 13th centuries. The carvings, primarily Buddhist but also incorporating Taoist and Confucian themes, offer a rich depiction of religious beliefs and everyday life during the Tang and Song dynasties. After that, transfer to the Chongqing port and board to start 4 days on luxury Yangtze Century Victory river cruise.

From the morning, you can start to learn to play Taichi together with the Taichi master onboard on the sundeck to enjoy the nice morning and sunrise. During the day, a series of cultural lectures about Chinese calligraphy, painting, medicines, etc. are arranged. (B/D) Optional:To experience the Three Gorges Dam Ship Lift, you will be transferred to a smaller sightseeing boat for an additional fee (CNY290/person, sign up & pay when on board). This optional excursion allows you to witness the impressive vertical ascent of the ship lift, a feat of engineering that lifts ships 112 meters. If who doesn’t take the option of the Three Gorges Dam ship lift excursion, you typically remain on the main cruise ship. You can enjoy onboard activities, lectures, or relax on your cruise until noon. Complete the cruise at Yichang. Flight to Chengdu.

Day 08: Chengdu - Research Base Of Giant Panda (High-Speed Train) Jiuzhai. (B/L/D)

Chengdu – Research Base of Giant Panda (high speed train) Jiuzhai. (B/L/D) Morning enjoy your time at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding,which is one of Chengdu’s most popular attractions. They are kept in large enclosures and have a dedicated team of scientists and keepers tending to their every need. After lunch, take the high-speed train to Jiuzhai.

Day 09: Jiuzhai Valley National Park - Jiuzhai Romance Show. (B/L/D)

(B/L/D) After your gourmet breakfast at the hotel, depart to discover the Jiuzhai Valley National Park, is home to nine Tibetan villages, is best known for its fabled blue and green lakes, spectacular waterfalls, narrow conic karst land forms and its unique wildlife. In the evening, enjoy the Jiuzhai Romance show, is a large-scale song and dance performance, featuring a blend of Tibetan and Qiang culture.

Day 10: Jiuchai (High-Speed Train) Chengdu. (B/L/D)

Come to visit Jin Li Jin Li where you can enjoy the handicrafts of making clay figures and sugar paintings. Afterwards, watch the Face Changing in Sichuan Opera. The actors will perform Sichuan Opera stunts, providing you with an audio-visual feast. Evening watch the Sichuan Opera face changing, or Bian Lian, is a dramatic art form where performers instantaneously change one mask for another using various techniques like pulling strings, a swift head movement, or a sleeve flourish. This visually stunning performance, which can feature up to 10 mask changes in 20 seconds, uses colorful masks to express different emotions and characters.

Day 11: Chengdu - Huanglongxi Ancient Town - Boat Tour Of Leshan Giant Buddha - Chengdu. (B/L/D)

Chengdu Huanglongxi Ancient Town – Boat Tour Of Leshan Giant Buddha – Chengdu. Transfer to Chengdu. Photo stop at Chengdu SKP Tower of Vitality and Chengdu Twin Towers are landmark buildings in Chengdu.

Terms & Agreements

Itinerary and Reservation:

  • The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions or the destinations’ hours of operation
  • A deposit of $300 per person and the flight ticket issuance fee must be paid upon reservation 
  • Tour prices can only be guaranteed after travelers deposit.
  • The balance amount must be paid at least 60 days prior to the departure date. Failure to do so will lead to the cancellation of your reservation and your deposit will not be refunded
  • If a reservation is made within 60 days prior to the departure date, a full payment is required.
  • The tour fare does not include: Gratuity to driver & tour guide, porterage at hotels & personal expense, travel insurance

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposit: For tours departing in June, July, August and December or during special events and holidays, deposits are non-refundable. All other tours are subject to a service charge equal to 50% of the total deposit fee as well as any airline penalties if a cancellation is made 60 days or more before the tour departure date. Deposits are non-refundable for any cancellations made within 60 days or less before the tour departure date.
  • Final Payment: For tours departing in June, July, August and December or during special events and holidays, final payments are non-refundable. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the tour departure date. Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to the departure date is subject to a 50% service charge of the total tour package fee. There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior the tour departure date.
  • Visa and Processing Fees: Visa and processing fees are non-refundable.

Travel documents:

  • U.S. citizens are required to have a passport for all trips outside of the U.S., which must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion date of the tour. Entry laws differ with respect to travelers’ citizenship.
  • It is the responsibility of the travelers to submit valid and proper travel documentation. Non-U.S. citizens should check for visa requirements.
  • Each participant is responsible for any expenses incurred because of delays or itinerary changes related to his/her lack of appropriate travel documents and are ineligible for any refund from AV Travel should these circumstances arise.
  • For more information on countries requiring visas for U.S. citizens and non-U.S citizens, please refer to the U.S. Department of State website: www.travel.state.gov.
  • Some countries require that your passport has two to four blank visa/stamp pages. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.

Other Terms & Provisions

  • AV Travel reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary and/or schedule, including canceling a tour departure in accordance to its tour operating policy and requirements.
  • If a tour is cancelled prior to the departure date by AV Travel, the company’s only obligation is to refund the amount received from each participant of the specified tour.
  • AV Travel acts only as an agent for the suppliers of transportation, accommodations, meals and other services provided to the tour participants. Neither AV Travel or its agents assume responsibility for death, personal injury, property damage and loss, or delays incurred by any person in connection with the tour or by result of any event beyond its control, including neglect, strike, war, terrorism, hostility, civil disturbance, and/or any acts of God.
