Itinerary

Day 01: Saigon – My Tho – Bao Dinh natural canal – Tortoise island – Tan Thach natural canal – Ben Tre – Thoi Son island – Can Tho – Victoria hotel

Pick up at your hotel. Depart for My Tho. Take a boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal, which is lined with stilt houses and fruit plantations. Proceed to Tortoise island and enjoy lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees. Trek through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son island and enjoy a rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motor boat. Continue to Can Tho. Enjoy your time at Victoria hotel, one of the best hotel in city with featuring colonial-style architecture. It is set amid gardens with exotic plants, located on the banks of the Hau River (L/D)

Day 02: Cai Rang Floating Market – Son Islet – Binh Thuy ancient house

Early morning visiting the Cai Rang Floating Market, you will see thousands of small boats full of agricultural products. It’s said to be a fruit-market of the southern part and the market is cultural identity of the Mekong Delta. Boats loaded with produce from nearby orchards of the Mekong Delta converge to the floating market. The main items sold there are farm products and specialties of Cai Rang town. Discover the local’s lifestyle on the picturesque on Son Islet. Being considered as a pearl in the mouth of a dragon, Son islet is one of an attractive eco-tourism destination its serene setting, fresh air, fruit orchards, floating houses, and delicious traditional southern cakes made by locals. Visit the floating fish farm with a large number of fishes such as catfish, feather-back fish, carp (Koi fish)… and special kinds of fish that can be hardly found in other places such as Red snapper, Fire eel, Redtail catfish, Tigerfish,… have a look at “flying snake-head fish” and enjoy how people raise fish right under their floating market. Take a short walk under green shades of fruit trees and on the rural paths to visit the fruits orchards to taste some delicious one, freshly picked from the tree, and learn more about the agriculture in Mekong Delta. Continue to visit Binh Thuy ancient house was built in 1870 with French style in architecture but still remained traditional features of Southern style. (B/L)

Day 03: Ca Mau – Soc Trang – Ma Toc Pagoda (Doi Pagoda) – Bac Lieu – Cong Tu Bac Lieu House – Cao Van Lau souvenir art gallery – Tac Say Church

Depart to Ca Mau. On the way, stop at Soc Trang to visit Ma Toc Pagoda (Doi Pagoda) – built more than 400 years ago and is home to thousands of large and small bats. Come to Bac Lieu to visit Cong Tu Bac Lieu House – the Prince of Bac Lieu House – this house was built in 1919, designed by a French engineer and the all incorporated materials were brought from France. Continue journey to visit the souvenir art gallery of the South traditional folk songs and musician Cao Van Lau – a generalization of the life, career of the musician Cao Van Lau, for recognition of merit and praise of his great contributions to the South traditional folk songs and he is person who wrote the famous Da Co Hoai Lang, a precursor of the old song on the stage today. Arrive Ca Mau, visit the “Tac Say Church” (Truong Buu Diep Sepulchre Franciscan Father) – the famous Sacred Catholic. (B/L/D)

Day 04: Rung Duoc Nam Can (Mangrove Forest Base) – Ca Mau cape – Rach Gia

Take a canoe to explore Rung Duoc Nam Can (Mangrove Forest Base). The natural scenery full of mangrove forests of birds, wild animals, and fishes gives Ca Mau a very distinctive beauty. Ca Mau cape is the Southernmost location with the last milestone of Vietnam mainland. After having photos taken, standing by milestone 0 you can contemplate the forest and sea swelling in the distance & feel the heat mixed with the salty air. Day 05: Chau Doc – Trading Market – Mieu Ba Chua Xu – Tra Su forest – Ha Tien – Mac Cuu Tombs – Phu Dung Pagoda – Thach Dong Thon Van – Hon Chong – Cavern Pagoda

Morning depart to visit Chau Doc downtown with the traditional Trading Market. Stop to visit famous Mieu Ba Chua Xu. Continue to take the cruise to visit Tra Su forest with more than 70 types of birds make their home in the Tra Su Cajuput Forest. This is the perfect place to immerse you in nature, cruise the flooded forest on a Tac Rang (motorised sampan) and learn about the biodiversity of the region. Continue drive to Ha Tien, visit to Mac Cuu Tombs. Phu Dung Pagoda, Thach Dong Thon Van. Visit Hon Chong with Cavern Pagoda. (B/L/B)

Day 06: Phu Quoc – Phu Quoc Vin Pearl Resort – Vin Wonders amusement park – Grand World Phu Quoc – Vin Pearl Safari Zoo

Afternoon depart to the North to discover the primitive forest then visit the black peppers plantation at Khu Tuong. Drive to An Thoi port, visit the fish sauce factory. Drive to the Sao beach. Visit the Ham Ninh fishing village. Enjoy the sun set at Dinh Cau – the spirit savior of the fisherman. Stop at night market. (B/L/D)

Days 08: Phu Quoc – Saigon

Taking the flight Phu Quoc – Saigon with Vietnam airlines. Pick up & transfer from the airport to down town Saigon. (B)

Terms & Agreements

Itinerary and Reservation:

  • The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions or the destinations’ hours of operation
  • A deposit of $300 per person and the flight ticket issuance fee must be paid upon reservation 
  • Tour prices can only be guaranteed after travelers deposit.
  • The balance amount must be paid at least 60 days prior to the departure date. Failure to do so will lead to the cancellation of your reservation and your deposit will not be refunded
  • If a reservation is made within 60 days prior to the departure date, a full payment is required.
  • The tour fare does not include: Gratuity to driver & tour guide, porterage at hotels & personal expense, travel insurance

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposit: For tours departing in June, July, August and December or during special events and holidays, deposits are non-refundable. All other tours are subject to a service charge equal to 50% of the total deposit fee as well as any airline penalties if a cancellation is made 60 days or more before the tour departure date. Deposits are non-refundable for any cancellations made within 60 days or less before the tour departure date.
  • Final Payment: For tours departing in June, July, August and December or during special events and holidays, final payments are non-refundable. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the tour departure date. Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to the departure date is subject to a 50% service charge of the total tour package fee. There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior the tour departure date.
  • Visa and Processing Fees: Visa and processing fees are non-refundable.

Travel documents:

  • U.S. citizens are required to have a passport for all trips outside of the U.S., which must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion date of the tour. Entry laws differ with respect to travelers’ citizenship.
  • It is the responsibility of the travelers to submit valid and proper travel documentation. Non-U.S. citizens should check for visa requirements.
  • Each participant is responsible for any expenses incurred because of delays or itinerary changes related to his/her lack of appropriate travel documents and are ineligible for any refund from AV Travel should these circumstances arise.
  • For more information on countries requiring visas for U.S. citizens and non-U.S citizens, please refer to the U.S. Department of State website: www.travel.state.gov.
  • Some countries require that your passport has two to four blank visa/stamp pages. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.

Other Terms & Provisions

  • AV Travel reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary and/or schedule, including canceling a tour departure in accordance to its tour operating policy and requirements.
  • If a tour is cancelled prior to the departure date by AV Travel, the company’s only obligation is to refund the amount received from each participant of the specified tour.
  • AV Travel acts only as an agent for the suppliers of transportation, accommodations, meals and other services provided to the tour participants. Neither AV Travel or its agents assume responsibility for death, personal injury, property damage and loss, or delays incurred by any person in connection with the tour or by result of any event beyond its control, including neglect, strike, war, terrorism, hostility, civil disturbance, and/or any acts of God.
