Morning transfer to the airport for the flight to the capital city, Ankara. It is a city of contrasts. The old quarter, built around the ruins of an ancient citadel, has narrow, winding streets and crowded buildings. Begin your journey with a visit Ankara Castle. Later, pay a visit to Anıtkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk. Inaugurated in 1953, it is dedicated to the founder of Modern Turkey.

Continue driving to Cappadocia, is also known as the “Land of Beautiful Horses,” so you should explore the landscape by horse as well as by hot air balloon. On the way, make the first stop in Eskisehir, a vibrant city known for its Ottoman-era buildings and lively cultural scene. (B/D)

Rise early for an unforgettable experience – a hot air balloon flight over the fairy chimneys and valleys of Cappadocia (As an option).
If you decide to take the flight you’ll need to wake up early before sunrise and taken to the launch site. As you soar over the stunning landscape, take in the breathtaking views and marvel at the unique rock formations that make Cappadocia so special. After the balloon, return to your hotel for breakfast before starting the Cappadocia Tour. Explore the mesmerizing Goreme Valley Open Air Museum, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex with beautiful frescoes. After your gourmet breakfast. Drive to Kusadasi. On the way, make a stop at the ancient city of Aphrodisias, renowned for its well-preserved Roman ruins. Explore the Temple of Aphrodite, the theater, the stadium, and the impressive marble sculptures. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Turkish countryside, passing by picturesque villages and landscapes. Come to the ancient city of Ephesus. You’ll marvel at the well-preserved ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site for Christians. You’ll have time to explore the city’s cobbled streets, ancient Roman baths, and impressive theater. Arrive in Kusadasi, a coastal resort town known for its beautiful beaches and lively atmosphere. See the old sleeping tunnels, the patient’s theatre, the swimming pools, and the courtyard, lined with Ionic columns for a unique insight into the science and medical practices of the Ancient Greek world! Another exciting highlight awaits as you continue to the archaeological site of Troy, one of the most legendary cities in all of history! Immortalized in Homer’s Iliad, discover the ruins of this incredible place and relive the famous saga of the siege of Troy. Afterwards, continue to Canakkale. Morning depart to Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Surrounded by lush forests and mountains, the city’s sometimes known as ‘Green Bursa’. Here, pay a visit to the spectacular Ulucamii Mosque, Kozahan Silk Bazaar and the Green Tomb the mausoleum of the fifth Ottoman Sultan, Mehmed I. After exploring Bursa, continue north to Istanbul.
