Songkran Festival is celebrated in a traditional New Year’s Day from April 13 to 15, with the splashing water with elephants.

Songkran, a festival marking the Thai New Year. Being in Thailand for the New Year, we witnessed a country overcome  by a contagious atmosphere of positivity and optimism. Get wet and wild at Thai Water Festivals.

Songkran, Thailand New Year is an annual festival which takes place over 3 days during the traditional Thai New Year, April 13th-15th.

Itinerary*

Day 01: Los Angeles

Depart from Los Angeles airport in the evening.

Day 02: The Pacific

Across The Pacific.

Day 03: Bangkok

Arrive Bangkok. Transfer to Pattaya. Later in the evening, go for the Alcazar Cabaret Show, a famous entertainment place
in Pattaya. Walking Street Pattaya is often considered one of the most famous streets in all of Thailand. It’s a hub for entertainment and nightlife for anyone visiting Pattaya. Walking Street stretches from Beach Road to Bali Hai Pier. (D)

Day 04: Coral Island - The Sanctuary Of Truth - Nong Nooch Village - Jomtien Night Market

After concluding your gourmet breakfast, get ready to explore the famous Coral Island. You will be sailed to the island on a boat. Have an exciting times of this exquisite island. it is ringed by beautiful white-sand beaches and warm turquoise seas. Enjoy water sports like scuba diving and snorkelling and have an enthralling time as you explore this island. Try out the water activities such as snorkeling, water skiing, parasailing, windsurfing and relieve yourself from your stress. In the afternoon, go to visit Sanctuary of Truth, is a magnificent wooden castle by the sea beautiful with sculptures and carvings that reflect the worldview of wisdom. The Sanctuary of Truth is the largest wood building in Thailand that use only wood to build it as the ancient Thai carpenter style. Continue to the sprawling 500-acre botanical garden in the Nong Nooch Village. The garden features a lake, orchid nurseries, and waterfalls. Day 05: Mini Siam - Iconsiam - Golden Buddha Temple - Asiatique The Riverfront

Morning depart to visit Mini Siam is a meticulously designed park that showcases over 100 miniature models of iconic structures and landmarks from different countries. Your journey continues to Bangkok. Enjoy your time at IconSiam is one of the Global Destinations for everyone from worldwide, the landmark located on Chao Phraya River. It includes a large shopping mall, food, culture, art, history & a nice floating market. Visit Golden Buddha Temple, which is the world’s largest solid-gold Buddha. The graceful seated Buddha is nearly 10 feet high and weighs over 5 tons. Come to Asiatique The Riverfront is a very famous open-air mall in Bangkok. It is known for its scenic restaurants, shopping stalls, and food markets. And of course, there are lots of entertainment options too to awaken your senses. Surely, this popular place has all your fashion needs and food cravings.

Day 06: Damnoen Saduak - Temple Of The Emerald Buddha - Grand Palace - Central World Mall - Jodd Fair Night Market

Morning drive to Damnoen Saduak is the most popular floating market in Thailand, great for photo opportunities, food, and for giving you an insight into a bygone way of life. An early morning start is worth it to avoid the heat and catch Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest. After this brief stop, it’s only a 10-minute drive to the pier to hop onto decorated long-tail boats that are waiting to take you to the market. The roar of the engine disturbs the quiet as the boat glides down the narrow canals, small wooden houses on stilts fringe the banks, some with larger ponds than lawns. Visit the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark. Built in 1782 – and for 150 years the home of the Thai King. Visit Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the adjoining Grand Palace, together form the greatest spectacle for the visitor to Bangkok. Enjoy your time at Central World mall, the ninth largest shopping complex in the world.

Afternoon enjoy your time at Jodd Fair Night Market used to be Ratchada Train Night Market. This new market is relocated from Ratchada to Rama 9, but still retains its original vibe of nightlife shopping and street food hawkers that we’re all familiar with. Jodd Fair offers more than 600 food vendors ranging from restaurants, street food stands and actual food tents. Take a night stroll along the many stalls and take your pick from dishes like Mala BBQ skewers and grilled beef steaks freshly made to order. In addition to the street food stalls with BBQ pork and chicken skewers or chargrilled steaks, there are also trailer cafes and other outdoor hawker stalls where visitors can hang out with friends and bask in the nightlife. Day 07: Phuket

Flight to Phuket, is an island it has no land boundaries, has been known for its dazzling beaches, shows & naughty night life This city tour gives an insight into the highlights of the ‘Pearl of the Andaman’, has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mostly situated along the clear waters of the western shore. Your tour stays at The Kee Resort, just across the street to the beach. It also at the center of the famous Bangla Walking Street, the heart of Patong Nighltlife. (B/D)

Day 08: Phi Phi Island - Loh Samah Bay - Viking Cave - Pileh Cove - Monkey Beach

Visit of Phuket would not be completed without a trip to Phi Phi Island, The Phi Phi Island is one of the most beautiful nature and great landscape in the world. It is great ideas to take to speed boat tour to Phi Phi Island from Phuket. Taking the speed boat about 50 minutes to get the sister island Phi Phi Ley, Maya Bay is the place that you will be visiting first in the morning. Heading to see Loh Samah Bay, Viking Cave, Pileh Cove, Monkey Beach. Getting times of snorkeling. Explore the beautiful beach at Patong town in the evening. Day 09: James Bond Island - James Bond Island

Day 10: Chiang Mai

Day 11: Doi Suthep

Visiting Chiang Mai would not be complete without a trip to the temple on top of Doi Suthep, an imposing mountain to the west of the city. The highly sanctified chedi and temple at the top is a popular pilgrim spot for visiting Thais and the views of the entire valley are humbling. Also on top of the mountain you can visit Phuping Palace gardens and Hmong villages, or go walking in the lovely forests of Doi Pui peak, which looms behind it. Come to visit Doi Inthanon National Park, the tallest mountain in Thailand, is home to a beautiful national park. The park is a favorite for locals and tourists alike, with many people visiting the peak of the mountain every New Year. One of the first things you’ll notice while in the national park are the dome-shaped stupas. These beautiful shrines provide gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. (B/L)

Day 12: Chiang Rai - White Temple

After your breakfast, starting your journey to Chiang Rai with a trip to White temple or Rong Khun temple is unique from other temples in that it has been constructed entirely in a radiant white color with sparking reflections from mirrored glass mosaics embedded in the white plaster. Continue to visit one of the numerous Karen Long Neck villages in Thailand, is one of the most exotic experiences on the planet. The mystery and beauty that sound the tradition of using brass rings for exaggerated jewelry is something better seen in person than in a book.
