One of Korean’s unique cultures is the traditional costume called Hanbok. Hanbok is a traditional Korean dress with a simple delicate design. It consists of a long shirt, high-waisted pants, and a hat. Hanbok is crafted with delicate hand-embroidered fabrics and comes in a variety of bright colors. Today, Hanbok is still worn on special occasions, such as National Day or weddings.

Korea is also famous for its entertainment industry such as K-Pop and K-Drama. K-Pop music has become a worldwide trend. K-Drama are drama series produced in Korea with rich, engaging content and often bring viewers to tears with deep emotions. Many of K-Drama series have been translated and dubbed into many languages and distributed worldwide.

Korean cuisine is also one of the other unique features of this country. Korean specialties include many delicious dishes such as kimchi, grilled meat, Korean beef steak (bulgogi) or rice cakes with meat rolls (gimbap). Korean cuisine is characterized by the use of a lot of green vegetables and spices to enhance the flavor.

Korea is also known for its traditional handicrafts. Products such as quilling (paper weaving), traditional ceramics, embroidery, flower festivals and home decoration are hand-crafted with dedication and high skill of artisans, which have earned worldwide attention and praise.

Korea also has many tourist attractions. One of the most popular places is the old town of Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul. This neighborhood is very well preserved and has many traditional houses built in the 14th century. Visitors can explore this neighborhood on foot and admire its beauty.

In addition, Korea has many natural tourist areas such as Jeju Island and Seoraksan Boulevard. Jeju Island is famous for its beautiful beaches, seafood specialties and famous landmarks such as Udo rock and Jeongbang waterfall. Seoraksan Avenue is a picnic area located in the Taebaek Mountains, with majestic scenery and beautiful landmarks such as Cheonjeyeon Waterfall and Biryong Waterfall.

The busy shopping centers like Myeong-dong and Gangnam are also well known to tourists. Myeong-dong is home to fashion, cosmetics and street food stores. Gangnam is a metropolitan area of Seoul with many high-rise buildings, commercial centers and high-end restaurants.
