Arrive in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đồng Xuân Market, selling household goods and street food. A great place to explore on foot, there is a lot to see and do here. Your hotel is located near the Old Quarter, offers the breathtaking views of West Lake, Truc Bach Lake and the Red River.

Drive from Hanoi to Sapa on the high way. Visit Cat Cat village, located at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Cat Cat village is an ethnic village of the Hmong people. This village was formed in the middle of the 19th century, and it still preserves important traditional crafts such as planting flax, growing cotton, weaving cloth, casting copper, etc.

Morning drive uphill offers most spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mount. Just out of town, you will see rose flower farms and later chayote grows on bamboo frames covered a vast area. Stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall, walking up along the beautiful waterfall and enjoy the spectacular scenery surround. The road trip continues further to Heaven Gate. At over 2000m above sea level, the Heaven Gate the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. From here enjoy for beautiful scenery of both two side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The wind blows stronger to force the clouds moving constantly. It is the best point here to enjoy breathtaking scenery of the two side of Fansipan Mountain range.

Visit Lao Chai village – home of Black H’Mong – here you trek through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life and habits. You trek through Ta Van village – home of Dzay hill tribe – a handy craft traditional village of 2 different minorities: the Red Dzao and the Black H’mong. Mountains surround the village and the landscapes are beautiful. Evening walking around to visit Sapa town.

Afternoon take the world’s longest three-rope cable car system, extending from the northern Lao Cai Province’s Sapa Town to Fansipan Mountain – the so-called “Roof of Indochina”. Enjoy & seeing the lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. (B/L/D)

Depart to Thai Nguyen, is beautiful and slow pace midland province. In Vietnam when you are talking about Thai Nguyen, people cannot helping imagine about typical local special production of green tea. Morning depart to visit Ba Be lake is Vietnam’s largest natural lake and is now the centre piece of an extensive National Park. The park and the surrounding area is limestone country, so lakes, waterfalls, caves and unusual rock formations abound. The whole area is richly forested and home to many ethnic minority communities. Board a private boat for a cruise on Ba Be lake to visit to the Puong Grotto and the Dau Dang waterfall. Take a scenic trip north of Cao Bang. (B/L/D)

Take a scenic day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc Waterfalls, is one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights. Located in the northeastern province of Cao Bang, the falls are 30 meters high and 300 meters across, making Ban Gioc the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country. The falls occur on the Quay Son river, a beautiful jade-blue body of water through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone pinnacles. The unique landscape includes limestone karst formations soaring from the verdant rice paddies of Tay, H’Mong and Dzao ethnic minority groups. (B/L/D)

Back to Hanoi with a stop at Lang Son province. Visit Tam Thanh Cave is very large with three chambers, has water pond, and has a window opening, which provides scenic views of vast rice fields outside & Nhi Thanh Cave, was discovered in the 18th century by Ngo Thin Sy, military commander of the Lang Son garrison, whose poems have been inscribed at the entrance to the cave. A plaque erected in the cave depicts a French resident of Long Son in full European dress. (B/L/D)

Drive to Ninh Binh, the south ancient capital of Vietnam. Take a sampan boat trip along the canal between majestic mountain ranges and endless yellow rice fields. Your boat will be steered by local people, so you can relax and enjoy stunning scenery including rising limestone cliffs, water caves. Visit Bai Dinh temple to see hundreds of Buddhist statues.
