Day 01: Los Angeles

Check in at LAX airport for the flight in the morning. AV Travel Tour Leader with fly with the group.

Day 02: Tokyo

Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. It is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world with a population of over 13 million residents. Tokyo is not only the center of politics and economy of Japan, but also a center of the global economy and culture. (D)

Day 03: Nikko

Begin your journey to Nikko – a town at the entrance to Nikko National Park, most famous for Toshogu, Japan’s most lavishly decorated shrine and the mausoleum of Tokugawa leyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate. Nikko had been a center of Shinto and Buddhist mountain worship for many centuries before Toshogu was built in the 1600s. Visit Nikko Tosho-guis a Shinto shrine, which is part of the “Shrines and Temples of Nikko” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, initially built in 1617. Continue to visit Futarasan Shrine stands next to Toshogu. Much older than its more lavish neighbor, Futarasan Shrine was founded in 782 by Shodo Shonin, the Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism to Nikko. (B/L/D).

Day 04: Tokyo

After concluding your gourmet breakfast. Drive to Tokyo down town. Enjoy your fun time at Odaiba Shopping. Come to visit Shibuya is one of Tokyo’s most colorful and busy districts, is a center for youth fashion and culture, and its streets are the birthplace to many of Japan’s fashion and entertainment trends. Shibuya’s most prominent landmark is the busy intersection in front of the station’s Hachiko Exit. The intersection is heavily decorated by neon advertisements and giant video screens and gets flooded by pedestrians each time the lights turn green, making it a popular photo spot. Enjoy the afternoon cruise around Tokyo. (B/D)

Day 05: Mount Fuji - Oshino Hakka - Hamamatsu

Kickstart your day with a lovely breakfast. Depart to Mt.Fuji. Visit Oshino Hakkai – Eight Magnificent Ponds, is a peaceful nature area around Mount Fuji. These natural ponds are crystal clear and each one is a little unique. The water in the lakes directly come from Mount Fuji, the natural pools are deep, the large fish swimming around make it feel like an aquarium. Since the quality of the water, water volume, and the safety, Oshino Hakkai has been included in the National Top 100 Spring Waters in 1985 by the Environment Agency (current Ministry of the Environment). It was also nationally recognized as a natural monument. This is a very popular spot for nature lovers and it is beautiful every season. Visit Mount Fuji is a symbol of Japan with 3776 meters Japan’s highest mountain, is listed as a UNESCO heritage and known as the symbol of Japan.. It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people throughout the centuries. Note: If the weather permits, the bus will drive us to the 5th station. Continue to Hamamatsu. (B/L/D)

Day 06: Nara - Todaiji Temple

After finish your delicious breakfast. Depart to Nara of Japan’s Kansai region is your next stop. Nara was the country’s first permanent capital city, and a Unesco World Heritage site. Todaiji “Great Eastern Temple” is one of Japan’s most famous and historically significant temples & a landmark of Nara. The temple was constructed in 752 as the head temple of all provincial Buddhist temples of Japan and grew so powerful that the capital was moved from Nara to Nagaoka in 784 in order to lower the temple’s influence on government affairs. The autumn foliage of Todai-ji Temple is awe-inspiring. You can see beautiful autumn leaves in every part of the expansive temple grounds. Tonight we’ll be staying at a ryokan (a traditional Japanese inn). Wearing the Traditional Yukata for taking the group pictures and having the dinner at the hotel. Enjoy bathing in the onsens (thermal hotsprings) and have all of your tiredness after a long day rinsed out. (B/D)

Day 07: Kyoto - Arashiyama Bamboo Forest - Kimono Experience - Nijō Castle

After concluding your gourmet breakfast. Drive to Kyoto. Known as the cradle of Japan’s cultural heritage, Kyoto was Japan’s capital and the emperor’s residence from 794 until 1868. Like most places in Kyoto this time of year, the Japanese Maples were in full bloom at Kyoto. Visit Arashiyama, has been a popular destination with many attractions. In the fall, the landscape itself becomes one of the main attractions with pops of green, yellow and red covering the hillsides and creating a spectacular view! Visit Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is one of Kyoto’s top sights and for good reason: standing amid these soaring stalks of bamboo is like being in another world. It’s one of the most photographed sights in the city. But no picture can capture the feeling of standing in the midst of this sprawling bamboo grove – the whole thing has a palpable sense of otherness that is quite unlike that of any normal forest we know of. Tenryu-ji is an impressive temple complex in the Arashiyama district of Kyoto and its walkway runs through the famous bamboo grove. Enjoy time for wearing Kimono to take a lot of pictures. Afternoon visit Nijō Castle, was built in 1603 as the Kyoto residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Period (1603-1867). is one of the seventeen Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto which have been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Continue drive to Osaka. (B/D)

Day 08: Hiroshima - Atomic Bomb Dome - Itsukushima Shrine

Head out of Osaka by Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Hiroshima to visit the sobering Atomic Bomb Dome, as well as the uplifting Itsukushima Shrine. See and feel the weight of the effects of nuclear warfare firsthand, as you look at the derelict dome in front of you. Next, head back into the bus and make your way to catch the ferry to Miyajima Island. Once there, marvel at one of the most scenic sites in Japan, the Itsukushima Shrine. Stroll on the island, known as the historic site of Shinto, literally translated as “the way of the Gods”, taking in the peaceful scenery. (B/L)

Day 09: Free Day For Shopping In Osaka

Enjoy your free day for shopping. Your hotel, conveniently located in Namba, in a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi – the largest shopping area in Osaka. (B)

Day 10: Kobe - The Royal Grand Hall Of Buddhism - Bali

After you have finished your gourmet breakfast. Depart to Kobe. Today lunch with a special treat with famous Kobe Beef, which is known for its tenderness, sweet flavor and fine texture. Continue to visit the Head Temple of Nenbutsushu Sampozan Muryojuji, the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism. It is one of the largest Buddhist temples in the world with the precincts of 1.8 million square meters and is the sacred place for all Buddhists in the world. At the foot of Mt. Mikusa, the temple temple that embodies traditional culture and state-of-the-art technologies was erected. These buildings were constructed with wood members of an unprecedented scale in size and weight and were decorated with tens of thousands of sculptures and metal-carvings. Completion of this grand temple was made possible by combining modern technologies with the traditional architecture. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Bali. (B/L/D)

Terms & Agreements

  • The itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions or the destinations’ hours of operation
  • A deposit of $300 per person and the flight ticket issuance fee must be paid upon reservation 
  • The balance amount must be paid at least 60 days prior to the departure date. Failure to do so will lead to the cancellation of your reservation and your deposit will not be refunded
  • If a reservation is made within 60 days prior to the departure date, a full payment is required
  • The tour fare does not include: Gratuity to driver & tour guide, porterage at hotels & personal expense, travel insurance, Covid test if needed
  • Travelers are required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the return date
  • Some countries require that your passport has two to four blank visa/stamp pages. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met
