Day 01: Orange County - Solvang - San Francisco

Departed from AV Travel in the morning. The journey starts with a morning drive to the Danish town of Solvang. Savor a decadent pastry from one of the town’s many Danish bakeries. Take in the views of the Santa Ynez Valley and the vineyards that cover the hillsides. Wander through the heart of picturesque Santa Barbara. Continue to San Francisco. (D)

The route from LA to San Francisco on the Pacific Coast Highway, also known as US Highway 101, is well known as one of the prettiest & most scenic routes in the world.

Day 02: San Francisco - Lake Tahoe

Enjoy & take lot pictures of the Golden Gate. Head into the Marina District to Crissy Field where you can see the majestic bridge up close. Photo stop at the Palace of Fine Arts, features a beautiful dome and curved columns. It’s set in a colorful park on the northern side of San Francisco in the Marina District. It’s one of the favorite places to sit back, relax, & enjoy the beauty of the city. Take pictures outside San Francisco City Hall, a destination historic landmark. Designed by Arthur Brown, Jr., this Beaux-Arts building originally opened in 1915 as a monument to the City Beautiful movement. Today, its elegant adornments and stately presence make it the crown jewel of San Francisco event venues. Explore our ​​past, join in today’s fun, and catch a glimpse into the future of Fisherman’s Wharf! You’ll find a wealth of knowledge on how a historic era still influences the present-day culture, events, sights, sounds, and food of San Francisco’s most famous waterfront community. Drive to Lake Tahoe, is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the border of California and Nevada, known for its casino industry. (B)

Day 03: Lake Tahoe - Yosemite National Park

We make our way to Los Angeles via the magnificent Yosemite National Park, an icon of America’s majestic natural beauty
Giant trees, mountains, sparkling streams and lakes, glacier-carved canyons, all these unique features make up Yosemite.
Millions of people every year journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

* El Capitan: The largest granite monolith in the world, El Capitan is located across from Bridalveil Falls in Yosemite National Park. It juts up about 3,000 feet from the ground, and is a favorite of experienced rock climbers.
* Yosemite Falls: The Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park, California are the highest known waterfall in all of North America. The Falls are on one of the park’s most famous attractions, especially in the spring when they have the most water.
* Half Dome: The Half Dome is one of the most recognizable formations in California’s Yosemite National Park. It is known the world over as a challenging and rewarding hiking and mountain climbing location, attracting thousands of adventurers every year.
* Bridal Veil Falls: Located in the Yosemite Valley California’s Yosemite National Park, Bridal Veil Falls are one of the park’s most famous sites. Millions of people every year come to see the 617-foot-high waterfall, which flows year-round. (B/D)

Day 04: Yosemite National Park - Sequoia National Park & King Canyon - Orange County

Morning depart to visit two of the most famous National Parks in the USA: Sequoia & King Canyon National Parks.
Sequoia and Kings Canyon share miles of boundary. Sequoia was America’s second national park designated in 1890. General Grant National Park, the forerunner of Kings Canyon, was the third, established in 1940. Visit the world’s largest trees at Sequoia. Kings Canyon is also filled with giants, from immense mountains to deep canyons. Continue to Orange County. (B)
