Itinerary

Day 1: Los Angeles - Tokyo

Depart from Los Angeles or San Francisco airport in the afternoon. AV Travel tour leader flies with the group.

Day 2: Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo. The capital city of Japan, is the largest metropolitan area in the world with a population of over 13 million residences. Tokyo is not only the center of politics and economy of Japan but also the center of the global economy and culture.

Day 3: Akihabara District - Digital Art Museum

Begin your journey with visit Akihabara District, is a buzzing shopping hub famed for its electronics retailers, ranging from tiny stalls to vast department stores. Enjoy your time at Mori Building Digital Art Museum: is the first permanent digital museum in the world without a map or set route, and a lack of signage, visitors are encouraged to explore the museum, wandering in and out of exhibits to discover new and exciting things, which test each and every sense. The museum is highly interactive and ever evolving, as your presence imprints on the digital space around you. Your hotel is in the Shinjuku district. When people say that Tokyo is a city that never sleeps, they must be referring to this particular neighborhood – Shinjuku. No other place in Tokyo can match its perpetual state of wakefulness. Day 4: Ramen Museum - Mount Fuji

Depart to Yokohoma. Visit the Shinyokohama Ramen Museum, a unique museum about ramen, a very popular Japanese noodle dish.
Continue to visit Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest mountain. If you’re inspired by the beauty of the Japanese landscape, you’ll enjoy the crisp mountain air and Mt Fuji views while cruising Lake Ashi even more. Visit Oshino Hakkai – Eight Magnificent Ponds, is a peaceful nature area around Mount Fuji. These natural ponds are crystal clear and each one is a little unique. This is a very popular spot for nature lovers and it is beautiful every season. Enjoy hot springs “onsen” – distinguished by the minerals dissolved in the water. Different minerals provide different health benefits, and all hot springs are supposed to have a relaxing effect on your body and mind. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Nara

We’ll move on to Nara, Japan’s first capital city. Have a visit to Todaiji Temple, once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples and still houses the world’s largest bronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana. We will also stop by Nara Deer Park before moving on to Kyoto. Kyoto was Japan’s capital city from 794 to 1868 before the title was given to Tokyo city. For 12 centuries in history, Kyoto witnessed all the rise and fall of Japan. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Kyoto

Known as the cradle of Japan’s cultural heritage, Kyoto was Japan’s capital and the emperor’s residence from 794 until 1868. You’ll see the main highlights of the wonderfully rich culture of Kyoto. Places such as the Kiyomizu Temple will dazzle your eyes. Your guide will also introduce you to Kyoto’s most popular temple, Kinkakuji, home of the world’s most authentic and exquisite Japanese garden as well as the celebrated Golden Pavilion. Enjoy a kimono fashion show – in which a series is a superb kimono are modeled by some extremely lovely models. Shopping at the Shinsaibashi is a popular shopping district in Osaka which has a long history as a regional center of commerce. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Kobe

Taking the Bullet Train to Kobe, the scene of the worst earthquake in the living memory of most Japanese has rebuilt and revitalized to form one of the most delightful and peaceful cities you can wish to visit. Historically, due to its port, Kobe has a long history of foreign contact, which has imbued its people with a very global outlook and attitude. It is also home to the famous Kobe Beef, which is known for its tenderness, sweet flavor and fine texture. Lunch at a restaurant specialized in Kobe beef – a delicious treat! Shopping at the Shinsaibashi is a popular shopping district in Osaka which has a long history as a regional center of commerce. Enjoy the Christmas’ Eve. (B/L/D)

Day 8: Osaka - Tokyo - Bali

Fly from Osaka to Tokyo. Visit Asakusa Kannon Temple, an active place of worship where you can see the largest paper lantern in Japan. Here, discover the difference between a Shinto Shrine and a Buddhist Temple, then explore Nakamise Market, which resembles a traditional style shopping street of a bygone era. Take the overnight flight to Bali. (B/D)

Day 9: Bali

Arrive in Bali in the morning. We stay 3 nights at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel, the 5-star with a private beach, designed to resemble a Balinese palace, in lush tropical gardens, is located on Bali’s southern peninsula. The hotel has welcomed kings and queens, presidents and other dignitaries over the years. Each guestroom is decorated with authentic Balinese furnishing and offers stunning views of manicured tropical gardens or vistas of the ocean from the terrace or balcony. (B/L/D)

Day 10: Black Temple - Tanah Lot - Sunset Dinner

We will start our sightseeing with the visit Black temple or Bajra Sandhi Monument in Denpasar, Bajra Sandhi Monument isa monument of Balinese People Struggle . This Monument is recognized by the name of Bajra Sandhi because its form is looking like Bajra or Genta or bell used by all Hindu Priest in reading off Weda holy sentence (mantra) at a religious ceremony. Continue to visit Ubud, a town in central Bali & is regarded as the cultural center of Bali. It is famous as an arts and crafts hub, and much of the town and nearby villages seem to consist of artists’ workshops and galleries. Visit Tanah Lot is one of the important directional temples in Bali. The temple is located on a rock just offshore. It is said to be the work of revered 15th century Hindu priest Nirartha and forms an important element of Balinese spiritualism and mythology. Enjoy a sunset dinner at a seafood restaurant in Jimbaran beach. (B/L/D)

Day 11: Kuta Beach

Day 12: Singapore

Fly to Singapore, an island city-state off southern Malaysia is much more than the sum of its numerous attractions. It’s where foodies, explorers, collectors, action seekers, culture shapers, and socializers meet―and new experiences are created every day. (B/D)

Day 13: Sentosa Island - National Orchid Garden - New Year’s Eve

This morning, heading for Mount Faber to enjoy a round trip cable car ride to Sentosa Island, take in the amazing aerial views from Faber Peak Singapore at Mount Faber, Harbourfront and Sentosa island. Visit the National Orchid Garden located within the Unesco World Heritage Site, with over 1000 species & 2000 hybrids on display. Continue to explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Next, stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss out this picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish. Our final stop at Little India will entrance you with the scent of joss sticks, jasmine and spices.

In the evening, celebrate New Year’s Eve 2021. Our hotel is located near Marina Bay Sands, where you can walk over to join the countdown & see fireworks. (B/L)

Day 14: Singapore City Tour

In the afternoon transfer to visit the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Enjoy the show of the magnificent sight of our Supertrees “Garden Rhapsody” light and sound show at the Supertree Grove in the Garden At The Bay. Hop onto a bumboat for a cruise along the Singapore River to see Singapore lit up at night, showcasing beautifully restored shophouses, modern skyscrapers of the financial district, colonial buildings & Merlion statue. Day 15: Los Angeles/San Francisco

Fly back to San Francisco or Los Angeles airport. (B)
