Day 09: Kuala Lumpur

Flight to Kuala Lumpur – the capital city of Malaysia. Enjoy an orientation tour of Kuala Lumpur where you will be introduced to the humble beginning of the city to what it is today – a modern cosmopolitan city. Evening visit buzzing Petaling street by night. It’s a bazaar of numerous makeshift stalls lined up to display their wares ranging from local handicrafts to almost-as-good-as-genuine designer items. Day 10: Petronas Twin Tower - Hindu Lord Murugan

Visit the Petronas Twin Tower. Head out of the metropolis and visit the spiritual Batu Caves, a limestone hill riddled with caves and cave temples. Climb the 272 steps to the shrine of Hindu Lord Murugan, visited by over a million pilgrims every year on the annual Thaipusam festival and Royal Selangor. Visit Old town, known to be the best place to pick-up a bargain – clothing, souvenirs and almost as-good-as genuine designer items. For a taste of a different culture, visit the city’s oldest Hindu temple, adorned with intricate roof carvings, depicting the many gods of the Hindu religion. (B/L/D)

Enjoy your day in Durian Garden. WOW! The unlimited durian feast for everyone. You can choose any durian that you want and consume as many as you desire. Everyone is given a one whole basket of durian and once you have chosen the durian, you can ask the helper to open the durian for you. It’s a super fruit. Despite the stench, durian is extremely healthy, even more so than many other fruits. Naturally rich in iron, vitamin C, and potassium, skin health and even lowers blood pressure. (B/L)

Day 12: Malacca

Drive to the historical city of Malacca, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a charming little town – much different than the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur. Visit St. Peter’s Church (1710) – the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the largest 17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan’s Well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Proceed to view the Famous gateway “Porta De Santiago” and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones. Next on the list is “Red Square” – the salmon-pink Dutch administrative building which today houses the Melaka Musuem and some other goverment offices. Take a stroll along Melaka’s “antique street” which ends by the banks of the Melaka Rivers. Enjoy a short cruise on the Melaka River. (B/L/D)

Day 13: Singapore

Across the border to Singapore. Proceed to Mount Faber to enjoy round trip cable car ride to and from Sentosa Island. Thereafter, proceed to visit National Orhcid Garden located within the Unesco World Heritage Site – Botanic Garden. Explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Next, stop at the Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss out this picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish. Our final stop at Little India will entrance you with the scent of joss sticks, jasmine and spices. (B/D)

Day 14: Marina Bay Sands - The Singapore River

Enjoy your free morning. We stay at Rendezvous Hotel on Orchard Road is a shopper’s haven and cosmopolitan playground set among a lush, tropical landscape that is ubiquitous in this Garden City. It is truly A Great Street! Orchard Road – Similar to London’s Oxford Street or Hong Kong’s Tshimshatsui, this bustling boulevard got its name after the nutmeg and pepper plantations that once lined it in the 1800s. Flanked on both sides by local and international department stores, tiny boutiques, offices, spas, beauty salons, hotels, entertainment spots, restaurants, and cafes, one could spend a whole day trawling the stretch starting from Tanglin Mall on Tanglin Road down to Plaza Singapura at the lower end of Orchard Road.
